Happy International Day of Friendship!

Just a quick blog post to say Happy International Day of Friendship!

For some of us we would have connected with many other bloggers in the blogging world who we now call friends. Like the quote below.

We don't cross [paths by accident.png

Why not post a positive message on their blog today and wish them Happy Intentional Day of friendship to put a smile on their face, like a post on someone’s blog who may not have many followers or comments or follow a new blog.

Friends may be family members, special friends who we’ve known for many years and we are now very close to or friends we’ve met more recently. So today  please remember to be thankful for all of the friends you have in your life, especially the ones who are always there for you and remember to think about you, make sure to wish them a Happy International Day of Friendship and thank them for being your friend and for their company, reflect on why you are friends and all of the fun and happy memories as well as difficult times you’ve shared with them and if you do have the opportunity to see them, give them a huge hug. Take the time to call a friend you haven’t spoken to in ages or if they’re overseas even write them a letter or send them a card to let them know you’re thinking of them, befriend someone who seems lonely and  please remember to be kind. Xx

I’m going to end with a couple of quotes on friends and friendship.

Friends are like stars1dc77583e9e7097052396acadc4920fb.jpg

Isn’t this just adorable?

Aw this is so sweet! Happy Int’l Day of Friendship! As someone who has pretty lost all friends and work colleague connections in the ‘real world’ over the years partly due to chronic illness, I am incredibly grateful for the online community and amazing bloggers out there. Sending a hug your way. Lovely post =]

I can totally relate to you. I’m in the same circumstances. I’ve lost jobs and friends due to my chronic illness. But you know what. They don’t matter. If they were true friends they would understand what you’re going through and be there to listen during difficult times. The ones who do are the ones who stick by you no matter what.

I am just a day late, but this was a great post! I can say that I feel that I have lost many “friends” over the years and I think it is because I am not able to get out and do a lot because of the illness I get to live with. I mean after working, which I am doing my best with, I do not have the energy to do anything but be home. I much prefer staying home on the weekends with my husband and cats than going out in public!!

I am really late on this but still want to send all three of you a 🤗 *hug*🤗 because you are all wonderful, kind and inspiring to me and others out there. I join you in losing friends along the way, for the same reason, but I am also grateful to have met so many nice people like you all through this blogging community. 🤗
