Are you ready for a monster vacation?
Two weeks ago I went and saw Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. It’s been a while since I’ve written about children’s movies so I thought I’d get back to what my blog was originally about and write up a review on the latest Hotel Transylvania movie.
When Drac’s daughter Mavis finds that her dad is spending too much time at work (They own hotel Transylvania) she decides that they are in need of a vacation and so she organises a vacation for them both and all of the other monsters at their hotel on a luxury cruise. But when Drac begins to feel zing for the ship’s captain Erica, things don’t seem to go to plan.
Can monsters really feel zing more than once? If you haven’t seen any of the previous Hotel Transylvania movies a zing is what monsters feel when they’re in love.
But don’t worry if you haven’t seen any of the previous Hotel Transylvania movies, before going to see this movie I’d never seen any of the other movies in the series either so I can’t tell you whether it’s as good as the first two movies but it still made sense to me once I got to know who the characters were.
So if you’re in need of a good laugh and a bit of the Macarena (I won’t give away the funny parts or they won’t be funny anymore), then this is the film for you.
Rating: 4/5
I saw this last week with my grandchildren, we loved it.
